                                 Harvard Avenue School Tour

Come One Come All to the Greatest Summer Toddler thru Third Grade Camp of All!!

Summer Fun with Harvard Avenue School

HAS is now enrolling SUMMER CAMP for Toddlers through 3rd Graders! Camps are available at our Madison Valley campus beginning July 7th. Our Capitol Hill location will be closed for maintenance and repairs.

We are again offering camps for entering kindergarten-third graders. Our oldest campers love lounging in their own Madison Valley Kid Clubhouse. K-3rd grade camp is a great option for older siblings and former Harvard Avenue School students and their friends to enjoy our amazing campus and allow for one drop off plan for a whole family.

Summer camp for all students is available two, three, or five day week sessions in two-week increments from July 7th- August 29th. Summer Camp hours from 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday (with a 9:00- 2:00pm option).

Campers bring lunch daily; snacks are provided. Descriptions of each session are below followed by enrollment instructions.

Note to TODDLER FAMILIES: We typically see many children currently in the toddler class attend Toddler Camp in July and then transition to Preschool Camp in August. We suggest you talk with Natasha to decide if your graduating-to-preschool toddler should attend toddler or preschool camp. Incoming toddlers are encouraged to attend toddler camp in August.

Kindergarten-Third Graders Camps

Session One: July 7th - July 18th
Camp Theme : Lego-Mania

Boys and girls will love building robots, towns, space ships, and creatures.  We'll engineer cities and construct amazing towns.  How many Legos does it weigh? We'll weigh things with Lego-balancing, do Lego balloon car races, and Lego art.  We'll have a ton of colorful Lego fun!

Session Two: July 21st - Aug 1st
Camp Theme : Rocket Camp

Science and engineering combined to create rockets and propelled cars and boats. Just a few of the experiments we’ll create these weeks as we talk about how things work. How about a fantastic foamy fountain, an exploding volcano, blobs in a bottle, making lava in a cup, and maybe the amazing levitating orb? Our grade school campers are capable of all of this and more!

Session Three: Aug 4th - Aug 15th
Camp Theme : Atlantis Explored

Fantasy projects are explored in this fun, artsy camp.  We'll work with clay, paper mâché, wood, string, etc to make some spectacular projects from our favorite mythological stories.  Sorting hats, wands, owls, crowns, shields, lightning rods and more!  Visiting art teachers will be coming to lead us through some special projects; framable art for sure! We'll also explore potions this session as the little wizards attend their chemistry classes!

Session Four: Aug 18th - Aug 29th
Camp Theme : Adventure Camp

We’ll get outside and solve a daily scavenger hunt or camp mystery. We’ll play organized games and work as teams to pitch tents and have s’mores around our “campfire” and we’ll RIDE HORSES on the final day of camp 8/29 around the campus and we’ll head to the beach for a day. The closest thing to a sleep-away camp experience without actually getting on a bus with your sleeping bag awaits your enthusiastic camper!

Preschool-Pre-K Camps

Session One: July 7th - July 18th
Camp Theme: Suess-a-Palooza

Everything Dr. Suess this session, back again by popular demand!
