Toddler Program
(for children ages 24 to 36 months as of fall 2013)
The Toddler Program is held at our Madison Valley campus. We offer a two-day program (Tuesday/Thursday) and a three-day program (Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday). The school day is 4 hours long. There are up to fourteen children in each class with three teachers. Children are introduced to various languages at this location.

Morning Preschool Program
(for children 3 and 4 years of age)
We offer Preschool classes at both our Capitol Hill campus and our Madison Valley campus. A two-day program (Tuesday/Thursday) and a three-day program (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) are offered at each. The school day is 4 hours long. Children are taught French at Capitol Hill and typically learn Spanish at Madison Valley.

Morning Pre-Kindergarten Program
(children MUST be 4 years of age by September 1, 2013)
We offer a Pre-Kindergarten program at both our Capitol Hill campus and our Madison Valley campus. The Pre-Kindergarten program runs five days a week, 4 hours a day. Children are taught French at Capitol Hill and typically learn Spanish at Madison Valley.

Mixed-Age Afternoon Enrichment Program
(for students enrolled in one of our morning preschool or Pre-K programs) We enroll three sessions over the course of the year. We currently offer classes 5 afternoons a week at both our Capitol Hill and our Madison Valley campus. Offerings include music, yoga, art/sewing, drama, science, cooking, soccer and Lego. Schedules and class topics are subject to change yearly.

Tuition & Fees

Harvard Avenue School tuition is based upon a full year’s operating expenses and consideration has been given to illness, holidays and vacation periods. Since our expenses are constant and our enrollment is limited, we are unable to give discounts or refunds.
Please remember that parents are obligated to pay tuition during periods of absence from the school unless your child has been hospitalized, in which case, tuition will be adjusted.

Tuition Rates (2012-2013) for all programs are as follows: (tuition rates typically increase by approximately $10-$25 per month/per program year over year)

$4,350.00/year ($435/month) - 2 days/week (Tu/Th) Preschool
$6,000.00/year ($600/month) - 3 days/week (MWF) Preschool
$8,750.00/year ($875/month) - 5 days/week (M-F) Pre-Kindergarten
$10,350.00/year ($1,035/month) - 5 days/week (M-F) Preschool

Morning Rates: Toddler
$4,400.00/year ($440/month) - 2 days/week (Tu/Th) Toddler
$6,200.00/year ($620/month) - 3 days/week (MWF) Toddler
$10,350.00/year ($1,035/month) - 5 days/week (M-F) Toddler

Supply Fee: $150.00 per each child (waived if the entire year's tuition is paid in full in August)

Applying to Harvard Avenue School

1. Attend a School Tour: (Please note that tours are for adults only). SPACE IS LIMITED. Please RSVP to Kirsten Camp at Admissions@HarvardAvenueSchool.com to reserve your spot.

Toddler Program - Tours will be held at 10:15 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:

                       October 24th, 2012
                       November 28th, 2012
                       December 19th, 2012
                       January 30th, 2013

Capitol Hill Preschool -Tours will be held at 10:15 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:

                       October 10th, 2012
                       November 7th, 2012
                       December 5th, 2012
                       January 16th, 2013

Madison Valley Preschool - Tours will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:

                       October 17th, 2012
                       November 14th, 2012
                       December 12th, 2012
                       January 23rd, 2013

Pre-Kindergarten - We currently are NOT scheduling tours for Pre-Kindergarten applicants. The number of spaces available for new Pre-K families varies from year to year depending upon the number of returning preschool students. Interested parents should submit an application and teacher reference form and we will add your child's name to our waiting list. You will be contacted to schedule a private tour after March 18th, 2013 if we are able to offer your child a place in one of our 2013-2014 classes.

2. Submit three-part application form and non-refundable $25 application fee (and teacher reference form if applying to Pre-Kindergarten). Application deadline for preschool and Toddler program is February 1st, 2013. Deadline for Pre-Kindergarten programs is March 1st, 2013.

3. Applicants either will be offered a place in one of our 2013-2014 classes or will be added to our Wait List. Parents will be notified between February 15th and March 31st, 2013.

4. A signed Admission Agreement and non-refundable enrollment deposit of $400 are required to secure a child's place in the class.
